I've always had a passion for marketing and design. Detail-oriented, analytical, and creative, I love the process and outcome of sound graphic design. As a professional photographer, I learned early on that a strong brand was an important component in running a successful business.
I first started offering graphic design services and marketing templates for photographers in 2006. You may remember "Brand your Business" and my marketing sets from various forums. Since then I've expanded the available templates and offer fully custom design solutions and studio branding.

This project has been in the works for quite some time… I was so impressed when Tami Hazlett posted her clean and simple packaging for the digital collection she offers her photography clients. So, we partnered up on this, and are excited to offer these digital packaging templates. You can select from two different looks, the original Evangeline Studios brand or one inspired by my own branding. As always the templates are provided as fully customizable, layered .PSD files. The copyright release wording is included, so you are welcome to use it or modify it to meet your photography studio needs. Each set comes with everything you’ll need for a clean and modern presentation of your digital products, as well as some marketing and studio branding pieces. Includes 12 layered files for the following pieces: double-sided business card, double-sided 5×7 cards, CD label, 3 different stickers/labels, 5×5 trifold brochure for slideshow, and 5×5 trifold brochure for digital files w/ copyright release. You’ll also receive a PDF with a “where to shop” list.

Just added a new item to the B&W collection of designs - gift cards. These are really cool to use as part of your referral marketing program, as client incentives, or in place of gift certificates. You could have these printed up as plastic gift cards through AllTimePrint (I’ve had plastic gift cards printed through them in the past). Or, you could have small quantities printed up as business cards. Surprise your best photography clients by including one in their thank you notes. Change the studio name and contact information and use the included wording on the cards or modify it to suit the needs of your photography studio. As always, these templates are offered as layered .PSD files for maximum flexibility.
FYI - the original marketing templates for photographers ARE still available. You can view the designs at http://mppblog.typepad.com/brandyourbusiness/. They are fully customizable with your colors, logo, and wording. Once you’ve selected a design for your photography studio brand, you will need to email me with your zip code so I can check to make sure it’s available in your area.
Trying to catch up after the crazy several months I’ve had. Finished up an SEO project for Boston Baby Photographer, the talented Taslim, owner of Bring to Light Photography. She’s reported already seeing an increase in web traffic, and it looks like she’s getting some top 10 results on google!
I recently had the pleasure to work with boudoir photographer Kathy Honeybourne of Honeybourne Intimates in Toronto, who came to me because she really needed a new splash page. She chose the full splash page package with SEO add-on, and an html page with a machform. She brought a lot of ideas to the table, regarding the overall look and feel and goals of the page, and I was able to provide my expertise and ideas to bring it all together. While the visual appeal, accessibility, and actual design are important, the bottom line are the results. The best website in the world won’t get you anywhere if potential clients can’t find it! A well-designed splash page increases business exposure and brings in new clients. I am thrilled with the results Kathy has seen so far. She has already seen a big increase in hits to her website, as well as actual bookings. Given her google rankings before the new splash page and her rankings now, I consider this project a huge success.

Impress your clients with plastic cards, just like the ones you find at retailers. These can be used as gift certificates, for referral programs, or marketing incentives. Change out the studio name and use the wording on the cards as-is or change it to suit the needs of your photography studio. These templates are designed for printing at AllTimePrint, where I’ve had plastic gift cards printed. (They look soooo cool! I’ll try to post some sample pictures of mine later.) These Photoshop templates for photographers were designed to match the popular Scrumptious bookmark and trifold set.
For your last minute 2009 seniors or to get ready for 2010 seniors! All text is editable, and most colors are as well. Images are easily added using clipping masks (gray areas show where images will fit). I always design for flexibility, so these could easily be modified to use as holiday cards or birth announcements as well (check out the samples). These are designed to WHCC press printing standards, with an extra 1/4″ all the way around to allow for trimming.

The 5×5 trifold is designed as a “delivery” brochure (wording not included at this time). You’ll receive 6 files ready to customize and upload to WHCC (or modify for printing elsewhere). The folded bookmark design is super versatile - it’s a referral card, it’s an appointment reminder, it’s a unique thank you card. Write your client thank you notes on these, or sell them to clients to use as adorable thank you notes for their shower gifts! The bookmark consists of 4 files - the front cover, as well as 3 variations of the inside (thank you, referral, and session reminder). It is designed for press printing at WHCC as a folded bookmark.
