Do you offer graphic design services to other types of businesses?
Absolutely! Being a photographer myself, I’ve been fortunate to meet many other wonderful photographers. Designing for photographers has just come naturally. However, I have worked with other types of businesses as well. Please contact me to discuss your needs.
What are the acceptable methods of payment?
All billing is done via PayPal, where you may use most major credit cards or E-check. Please note that if you choose to pay by e-check, work will begin only after the payment has cleared.
Where should I have my marketing sets and other items printed?
There are many options to choose from, and I suggest you research and compare which would best fit your needs. I personally like GotPrint, and have designed the marketing templates using their sizing specifications. Items such as holiday cards, birth announcements, 5×5 trifolds, bookmarks, and wallet cards are designed using WHCC specifications. Please check the size specifications for the printer you are using. On custom designs, you will need to communicate where you will be printing so that I can be sure to design for the correct size.
If I purchase pre-packaged marketing templates, can you help me modify them with my own text, images, logo, etc?
You will be responsible for adding your own text, images, logo, updating colors, and such. However, I do offer a service where you can provide me with all the materials and I will deliver a finished set to you, complete with your wording, images, and logo. This is a great option for those new to Photoshop or just too busy to DIY (do-it-yourself). Please inquire if you are interested in this service.
How long will the design process take?
Please contact me for availability and scheduling. To ensure you receive personal attention and focus, I accept a limited number of custom design clients at any given time. As with any custom design project, the process and timeframe will vary. Before we begin, I will give you an estimate on the expected timeframe for the project. However, once we have started your project you should expect individual pieces to generally take up to 2 weeks.
How will I receive the products?
All products are delivered electronically. After you have purchased a template, you will receive an email with a link to download the files. Custom designs will be delivered via a download link once the project is complete.
In what format are the marketing templates?
Unless otherwise specified, all products are .PSD files.
Can I use your templates with Photoshop Elements?
All templates have been designed using Photoshop CS3, and are compatible with 7.0 and above. In most cases, you should have no problem using Elements with these templates.
Can I modify the colors and fonts?
Unless otherwise specified, you may change colors, fonts and text on all templates and designs.
Do marketing templates include the wording?
In most cases, no. On custom projects, we can discuss options that include wording for the final pieces.
Do you offer logo design?
I try to stay away from logos. In my opinion, the logo is such an important component of your business identity that you should seek out a trained designer who specializes in logo design.
May I resell your templates?
No, you may not resell MPP designs or templates. Michelle Pinheiro/MPP Designs retains the copyright to all designs. Please respect the copyright. You may NOT give, share, or resell any products by MPP Designs. Products may not be redistributed in any form. All products are sold for your personal and limited commercial use, to be used with your own photographs, in your marketing materials or sold in final printed form to your photography clients. Under no circumstances should any designs be made available to the general public (ie. Ebay, Etsy, etc.).
